Brief
Our original brief was to design and develop a new website for Connelly Security Systems (CSS). Over time from the success of their website this brief has been amended dramatically to become a full out marketing campaign. We implemented this new marketing campaign at the start of 2011 specifically to coincide with their 25th anniversary. All the new artwork was to be used throughout all future CSS marketing materials and the objective of this campaign was to increase their market share against other leading competitors in their industry.
Approach
From the original brief we designed and developed a new website for CSS that included all the key information about the company for its customers and potential new customers. But the new website offered a lot more than just information about CSS. We also included a number of useful administration tools such as customer forms making it easy for customers to request maintenance bookings, change alarm keyholder details, make payments to their accounts, or simply just send in a message. This significantly reduced a lot of internal administration procedures leaving the staff able to freely communicate with customers that required assistance rather than get caught up with ongoing administration tasks that could be handled by the customers themselves and at their own time and convenience.
For the marketing campaign we created a wide range of new material such as posters which are on display at train stations, a large floor graphic at Queen Street train station Glasgow, internal and external bus panels on a large number of city buses in Glasgow and Edinburgh, 2 x rear panels on the city link buses that are continuously active on the M8 and we also made some updates to the website reflecting this campaign.
Results
Feedback from the client has been extremely positive in terms of activity throughout the website, the convenience to both the staff and customers from the features that the website currently offers has become very helpful to the daily operations of the company. Although the marketing campaign is still in its early stages, we have monitored increased traffic to the website which is likely to increase sales and customer relationships.
There are a number of planned development features coming up over this year. We will be working very closely with CSS and look towards improving on the success we have accomplished so far to date.
